The Turaya Gathering was a one-off festival that promoted "the diversity of culture and consciousness through the arts, in harmony with mother nature". It marked a cross-over point for underground party organisers Liquid Connective. In contrast to their usual highly acclaimed psy-trance orientated outdoor parties, Turaya was a lush, fully licensed, 3 day celebration of spiritual well being and musical diversity.

Set in the spectacularly beautiful Gaunts House estate in rural Dorset, and commemorating the last day of the 13 Moon Calendar, Turaya was a much needed Day Out Of Time that anchors us back to nature. This truly magickal event was reminiscent of early Big Green Gatherings.

I worked my keep as first point of contact for all visitors to the on-site production office. Putting on an event like this requires serious effort and cohesion - it was a joy to part of it. Respect to all involved, especially Liquid James for his vision and sheer strength of Will in holding it all together.
