Mindscapes & Friends, Interpole's Fluorotrash, and Pukka Music presented something a bit different for Halloween by mixing up some psychedelic cabaret with Psytrance, Psyambient, and Dubstep. My task was to photograph the pole dancing, which was lit by experimental VJ projections from Coldcut... hence this album concentrates on the dance pics.

Unfortunately the video projectors were under-powered and the logistical dynamics made a tripod hard to use, so I shot handheld in high-ISO slow-sync flash. This captures the colour & texture but psychedelically blurs the images - fast flash would have been cleaner & sharper but would have bleached out the projections.
