The Synergy Centre, one of the centres of indigenous cultural activity in London, joined forces with Sandblast Arts to host a benefit to raise money to support Tiris, a group of Saharawi refugee musicians on their debut UK tour. The gig featured traditional world music and dance, DJs, film, and acoustic performances. Unfortunately I arrived late missing Tiris' performance, and I for most of night my camera remained in its bag while I danced.
