The Glade Electronic Music Festival started life as the alternative dance music stage at Glastonbury Festival sometime around year 2000 (indeed the name refers to the lightly wooded area opened up especially for the purpose). In 2004 the organisers span out their own experimental off-shoot event. In 2007, The Glade was held on the wettest UK weekend in living memory - inspite of almost biblical floods the event was still an inspiringly creative showcase of the very best talent in the contemporary underground electronic dance scenes.
Huge kudos to Anselm Guise, Nick Ladd, and the rest of the team for pulling this one off! Also big love to fellow photographers
Matthew Cameron-Wilton and
Olivia McGilchrist.
